Quality of the education as a trend of the European higher education area

Aim: substantiation of the current trends in the development of higher education inUkraine in accordance with the challenges of the European area; identification of essential features of the higher education quality, mechanisms for its provision and ways to improve the quality of higher pharmaceutical education.
Materials and methods. Analytical materials of international and domestic higher education experience exemplified by the National University of Pharmacy, Requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Assurance Standard and Recommendations in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education” and other legal documents were used to achieve the objective of the study. The submitted data were presented with the help of the methods of generalization, systematization of comparative analysis and information retrieval.
Results. It was established that ISO certification is an important aspect to make a model of internal (local) quality assurance system of any higher education institution. It was found out that the Quality Management System integrated in the National University of Pharmacy is an original, adapted system that develops dynamically and has the potential to improve and implement the new ISO Standards.
Conclusions. Under the study results, the higher education institution is a key tool to solve any urgent quality assurance problems, in particular the quality of education, and the environment where a personality is formed mentally is the basis of the individual trajectory for persnal development.References
