Content research of officially approved information on the medical application of tamsulozin trademarks

The article deals with the research of effective and safe prostateprotectors use in complex therapy. According to study in Ukraine there are 11 PP with an international non-proprietary name (43 trade names 82 different drug forms of various dispense and dosage), are produced by 43 companies of 21 countries and are registrated by 33 applicants of 19 countries, tamsulozin trademarks are about 37,2 % among them.
Aim. To study the texts of instructions for medical application (IMA) of the registered in Ukraine Tamsulosin trademarks.
Materials and methods. Contextual analysis, comparison and generalization of the content of IMA texts of Tamsulosin trademarks.
Results. It was established that in the State Register of Drugs of Ukraine dated 01.08.2017 year 12 Tamsulosin trademarks in a dose of 0.4 mg in capsules and 4 – in tablets with a hard shell, were added. The analyzed Tamsulosin trademarks differ in name and number of excipients that affect their stability and effectiveness. In the texts of the studied IMA differences regarding the shelf life, storage conditions, method of administration, pharmacokinetics, contraindications and side effects of Tamsulosin trademarks were revealed. The inappropriate prescription of Tamsulosin trademarks for patients with prostatit is due to inadequate interpretation of the IMA textmay be the result of these communicative differences and will lead to the development of negative reactions.
Conclusions. The study of IMA texts of 16 Tamsulosin trademarks established the presence of differences in the investigated samples of officially approved information, inadequate interpretation of which may lead to the irrational pharmacotherapy.
