Analyzing the market of parapharmaceuticals means in Ukraine, we found that for today, products for children’s skin care, especially for babies are in demand. Based on the obtained literature data, we concluded that for the development of means, in particular foam-washing for daily hygienic skin care for babies, it is necessary to take into account the structural features and functional ability of the skin and carefully approach the issue of choice of «soft» detergents for the future of the complex foam-washing base. Aim. To develop a modern «soft» and at the same time stable foam-washing base, corresponding to all the established physico-chemical parameters of the current regulatory documentation of Ukraine. Results. On the basis of the physico-chemical and technological research substantiated rational composition of foam basics for babies containing: sodium laureth sulfate – 7.0 %, sodium laureth sulfosuccinate 5.0 %, cocamidopropyl betaine 2.0 %, cocoglucosidylglyceryl oleate 0.7 %, ethoxylated rapeseed oil amide 1.5 %, PEG-150 polyglyceryl 2 stearate and laureate-3 – 0,2 %, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate – 0,4 %, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose – 0,1 %, glycerin – 1,0 %, sodium chloride – 2,0 %, lactic acid to the pH 5,0-5,5, purified water to 100.0 Conclusions. It was established that the foam base obtained has satisfactory consumer, technological and necessary physical and chemical properties. The value of the foaming ability (foam number not less than – 145.0 mm, foam stability of not less than – 0.8 – 1.0 standard units) was in accordance with the requirements of the current normative documentation, namely GOST 4315: 2004 «Cosmetic products for the cleansing of skin and hair».
